About Kindred Care
Care for them. Care for you.
Kindred Care is a calm, practical companion built for families caring for someone living with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. We exist because the journey of caregiving is rarely walked alone, yet it so often feels that way. A spouse, a son or daughter, a guardian, and a hired caregiver may all be part of the same person's day, each holding a different piece of the picture. Kindred Care brings those pieces together in one gentle place.
At the heart of the app are three simple spaces. Today offers a gentle starting point each morning, with a small tip and a quick check-in. Care Guides provide short, plain-language guidance across the topics families face daily, from daily routines and communication to behavior, safety, health and self-care. And the Care Journal lets you capture mood, sleep, meals, medications and meaningful moments in about a minute a day, so patterns surface naturally and can be shared with a doctor when it matters.
Kindred Care is for everyone who loves them: spouses holding a partner through change, sons and daughters loving a parent in a new way, guardians keeping the plan and the paperwork, and the professional caregivers who show up each day with patience and skill. Each family member keeps their own notes, so everyone stays informed without anyone losing their privacy.
We build Kindred Care with one quiet promise in mind: that a little support, every single day, can make a hard season gentler. Privacy is the foundation of everything we make, and compassion is the tone we carry into every screen. We are a small team who has sat beside people we love as they changed, and we built the tool we wished we'd had.
